With rain.

It was one of those storms I call “Hollywood storms” — when the first you know of the storm’s presence is a bolt of lightening followed quickly by thunder and just as quickly by a sudden downpour.  And pour it did.  Spring drama. 

Though this new season is calling me away to do other things, know that I will be composing mental Equinox posts out of habit for weeks.  Months maybe.  I’ve enjoyed it.  And I’ll miss it.

It was an impromptu visit to the beach, and they weren’t dressed for it, but went swimming anyway.  One last dip as the days shorten and the weather cools and we enter another cycle of seasonal change.  I think it’s the meeting of one season with the next that I love most.

Thanks for letting me into a small slice of your life on the other side of the equinox, I have so enjoyed it.

That is freaky and has put out of my mind anything else I was going to write about.

Or it should have been. Though I have a busy weekend ahead (I am not sure there is any other kind anymore), I will do my best to adhere to it.

And we  thought it was a happy place to be.  And busy.  Very very busy.

And found it a sad place to be.

When you’ve got that, don’t need anything else.

My hubby is 40 today. 
That is totally crazy.

It’s an angel fish. Iona wanted to learn to make soft toys, and she can’t believe how easy it is. She has two of her own designs waiting to be cut and sewn today.
